About Treegifts Limited

  Nigel and Jane Parrott started Treegifts Limited in 1999 bringing together their love for native British trees and their enthusiasm for new technology.
      Having spent his childhood in an ancient woodland attached to his family home Nigel feels a strong bond with these huge plants. He regularly seeks them out for solace & inspiration. 
       Jane's love of trees comes more from a wonder of the beautiful intricacies and interdependencies of nature. It's about balance and harmony from an elemental biochemical level up to whole ecosystems.

     All our trees are sown from British seed. They are specially grown for maximum root development - the best start a tree can get. They are from quality certified stock and carry an EEC Plant Passport for export requirements. We grow them in pots so that they can be transplanted throughout the year and not just "in season" as is the case for bare rooted stock. The pot also protects the root system during transit and sustains the tree while waiting to be planted out in its new home.
      We care for all our trees tenderly in the nursery and wrap them carefully for safe transit through the post. Full planting instructions are included to ensure they continue to thrive in their new home.
